My most recent choreographic work, entitled "Connected Through Memory, We all Bleed Blood" highlighted materiality and spirituality as irrevocable aspects of human life. The costumes became a luxe, modern, and cultured commentary in direct juxtaposition with the carnal expression that is Modern Dance. The all female cast emphasized the mysteries of creation and what it means to be human. I played with focus on texture and drama as a direct allusion to the roots of modern dance. To help the audience measure the immediate value of their attention, the piece was performed with no music. Without the use of music, each member of the audience is left to draw their own conclusions.  *Photo courtesy of Rutgers University.
